Our friends from the High Wolds Heritage Group are holding a Community Arts Project Exhibition with artwork inspired by the archaeology and landscape at Hanging Grimston.
Hanging Grimston is the site of a deserted Medieval village and has been the subject of excavations by the High Wolds Heritage Group in partnership with the Scarborough Archaeological and Historical Society over the last few excavation seasons.
Also on display will be finds, artefacts, reports and photographs from the dig.
The exhibition runs from the 25th July until the 31st July 2017 at Thixendale Village Hall and is open each day from 2pm until 8pm. Admission is free and refreshments are available.
